He wins most of his fights by a decision as he comes into bouts with a good strategy and simply outboxes his opponents. However, many argue that Bivol has never truly been tested with Joe Smith Jr giving him his biggest scare. Canelo’s game plan will be to outbox Bi Bivol knowing that it’s never happened to him before but unlike Bivol, Canelo will have that plan B and know exactly where Bivol’s weaknesses lie.
If Canelo is to get a knockout victory, it’ll come late in the fight, similar to the Caleb Plant fight where he dominated the fight and went for the knockout late on.

Bivol has a significant reach and height advantage, which will be a major factor in any game plan the underdog has. It’s hard to look past Canelo if this one goes to a decision.
