Weekend Accumulator: Friday

The Friday accumulator will always be the easiest to choose but the hardest to win; the reason for this is the lack of selection for Friday night games, especially when we exclude the games in our daily betting tips blog. However, there are several games that we feel are suitable for our bets. Our fourfold for Friday night includes:

    1. - West Brom to beat Birmingham City + -1 handicap.
    1. - PSG vs Angers - Under 2.5 Goals
    1. - Hoffenheim vs Koln = Draw + BTTS
    1. - Shamrock Rovers to beat Sligo Rovers

West Brom are the Friday Night Football frequents we’ve consistently backed in this blog with great results. This week we’re backing them to give us another win against 16th placed Birmingham City who have failed to score in their last four games. Birmingham’s only goal since August came from a Troy Deeney penalty in the 87th minute, during a 4-1 defeat to Fulham. West Brom -1 handicap is a great bet in our opinion.

PSG failed to land a shot on target in their last game against Rennes and they will be severely depleted against Angers. Neymar, Angel Di Maria, Lionel Messi and Marquinhos will be missing and the in-form visitors may cause a number of problems for the home side. PSG should still be victorious but we think it’ll be 1 or 2 goals to nil.

Hoffenheim are one of the most inconsistent sides in the Bundesliga but their quality is clear to see. This week they take on the best Both Teams to Score betting side in the world today - Koln. Koln have scored and conceded in their last 10 games, and they have also drawn three of their last four games 1-1. We think that will become four in five here.

Last time we took a trip to Ireland, we ended up with a 94th-minute victory as St Patrick’s Athletic beat Drogheda United. There are just seven games left this season and Shamrock Rovers look destined to claim the league title this season. This is their last fixture against a top-four side and will be their last big test. Shamrock won the reverse fixture 1-0 recently and we can’t see anything but a home victory here.

Weekend Accumulator: Saturday

Saturday’s accumulator is the biggest of the lot. With over 50 games across Europe’s top leagues, there are a plethora of fantastic fixtures to choose from. This is why on Saturdays we upgrade our accumulator to a fivefold, which can be found below.

  1. - Aston Villa to beat Wolves
  2. - Dortmund to beat Mainz + Under 3.5 goals
  3. - Inter Milan to beat Lazio
  4. - Rangers to beat Hearts
  5. - MK Dons to beat Shrewsbury

Our Saturday accumulator features some massive games across five leagues of European football. We kick off our all English Saturday predictor with back-to-back appearances for Wolverhampton Wanderers who actually ruined our acca by defeating Newcastle before the international break. This week, they face Aston Villa, who in recent weeks have faced Chelsea, Man United and Tottenham and have a better run of fixtures now, which we expect them to start with a win over Wolves.

Borussia Dortmund have struggled for goals since Erling Haaland picked up an injury. Donyell Malen hasn’t lived up to early expectations and Dortmund have suffered due to this. That being said, their Bundesliga form is still relatively decent and they’re focusing a lot more on defence without Haaland in the side, which is why we’re backing under 3.5 goals in a Dortmund victory this week.

A dismal 3-0 defeat to Bologna dampened the spirits of Lazio fans before the international break. Meanwhile, Inter Milan have been far better than anyone would have expected after the losses of personnel they had in the summer. We think they’ll keep their unbeaten run going against Lazio.

With Hearts and Hibernian sitting second and third respectively in the Premiership, flags are flying high in Edinburgh. However, Glasgow is still currently the likely destination for the title, with Rangers topping the table. Saturday provides an opportunity for second-placed Hearts to show their title credentials but realistically, Rangers should be far too strong here.

With just five points separating 1st and 9th in the English League One, it is a league that we’re going to be looking at every week. This week we focus on 6th placed MK Dons, who were early title contenders but late goals against Fleetwood and Doncaster have seen them drop down the table. This week they face a Shrewsbury side who have lost their last three league games by a scoreline of 2-1. Shrewsbury aren’t as bad as their position suggests but MK Dons should have too much for them this weekend.

Weekend Accumulator: Sunday

Sunday is our favourite day of the week for football accumulators as there are half the selection choices of a Saturday, but we often find the biggest games of the week have been shifted to Sunday. Some of which you can find in our Sunday accumulator below:

  1. - Tottenham Hotspur to beat Newcastle United
  2. - Swansea City to beat Cardiff City
  3. - Barcelona to beat Valencia
  4. - Leverkusen vs Bayern Munich = Over 3.5 goals.

Newcastle United may now have the richest owners in the world but they’ve stuck with arguably the worst manager in the Premier League for Sunday’s game against Tottenham Hotspur. St James’ Park will be rocking and the atmosphere will be fantastic. However, Spurs should have enough to edge out the game.

Cardiff City are in a dismal run of form as they take the short trip to Swansea City who have drawn four of their last six league games and have shown improvements from a number of disappointing results in August. They should have enough to see off their neighbours on this occasion.

Both Valencia and Barcelona would have been happy to see the international break come after both sides were struggling. A goalscoring friendly debut for Sergio Aguero will fill Barcelona fans with hope of surviving without Lionel Messi but the signs still aren’t good. They host a Valencia side who haven’t won in their last four games, so a marginal victory for Barcelona seems appropriate here.

Nothing makes us happier than the prospect of a goalfest and that’s exactly what we have in the form of Bayer Leverkusen vs Bayern Munich. These two sides average approximately three goals scored per game. Leverkusen have scored eight in their last two in all competitions while Bayern have 16 goals in four. Even if you’re not placing a bet, you’re going to watch this game for goals galore!
