How Does the LeoVegas Cheltenham Betting Offer Work?

What are the biggest races of Cheltenham Festival?

Each day of The Cheltenham Festival has a feature race at 3:30pm, although you are free to place your qualifying bet on any of the 28 total races. Below is a brief overview of each of the feature races.

The Champion Hurdle:

The highlight of day one, the Champion Hurdle has grown to become one of the most popular races at the Festival, and is also one of the oldest. There’s been an upset to traditional Irish dominance in recent results, with Epatante being the reigning champion. She’s slated to be back to aim to make it two in a row in the same race.

The Queen Mother Champion Chase:

The Queen Mother Champion Chase is the most prestigious event of day two of The Cheltenham Festival, and many future stars have cut their teeth in this race. Reigning winner Politologue is likely to face some stern competition on the Old Course at Prestbury Park.

The Stayers’ Hurdle:

St Patrick’s Thursday gives bettors a chance to celebrate the Irish holiday a few days early, particularly if they back the eventual winner of the Stayers’ Hurdle. Paisley Park missed the chance of becoming only the fifth horse to win the race on consecutive occasions, but the nine-year-old is keen to taste success this year.

The Gold Cup:

One of the most famous National Hunt races in all the world, Friday sees all eyes turn to the New Course for what it’s all been about, the Gold Cup. Minella Indo won this race last year and a lot of people will be keen to see how this race plays out in anticipation of The Grand National in April.
