What are the bonus features of 9 Coins?

There are no cash wins available in the 9 Coins base game. Instead, you’re looking to fill the middle reel with symbols. Every time you do, you’ll trigger the Hold the Jackpot bonus feature.

Hold the Jackpot

When three symbols land across the middle reels of the 9 Coins slot, they will lock in place - along with any other symbols in view - and you will be given three respins. During these respins, if any new symbols land in any reel position, the counter will reset to three. The aim here is to fill all nine-reel positions, which will trigger the 500x bet jackpot. The feature continues until either that happens, or no new symbols land for three respins.

There are various symbols that can land on the reels during the Hold the Jackpot feature, these are:

Coins - Coins have a value displayed, at the end of the feature, the value of all coins will be combined and multiplied by your bet.
Treasure Chest - The value of all coins on the reels will be collected in the chest, essentially doubling the coin win
Jackpots - One of three jackpot amounts will be added to the pot, either the mini, minor, or major

Launched in June 2022 by Wazdan, 9 Coins is the first in the Coins series of slots. Each of these slots has a similar idea, just a different number of reel positions and, therefore, a different number of coins to trigger the jackpot.

9 Coins is the originator of the concept, and still looks great. Gold is the main colour scheme here, with aspects of red involved to create an Asian theme to the design. A midnight blue backdrop ensures the vibrant colours are clear and strong in front of the much darker background.
