Description of Boom City

Boom City is one of the highlights of Pragmatic Play’s exceptional live games suite. A unique dice game that offers a twist on traditional Sic Bo in a more gameshow environment, the base game itself would be enough to be hugely entertaining.

However, Pragmatic have gone above and beyond with this live dealer game, also adding a variety of special bonus games and features that can be triggered in the base game, each offering an extra dimension of entertainment as well as a max prize of 20,000x your stake.

What are the bonus features of Boom City?

From the base game of Boom City, you can trigger one of several bonus features. When this happens, you will be transported away from the initial game, and into a special area for the bonus feature:

Dice Battle

In Dice Battle, the two dice from the main game are used. The dice are rolled three times each, and you bet on whether the gold or blue dice will have the greater combined value when those three rolls are totalled up.

If your guess is correct, the value of the winning dice will be multiplied by your bet for a payout. If your chosen dice reveals three sixes, the payout raises to 500x your stake.

Lucky Drop

Here, all six columns display different dice results. You pick a column and the dice are rolled, if the result is in your chosen column, you win. This happens six times, and the total from all six rolls is then paid out.

Boom or Bust

Using the same board as the Boom City base game, the two dice are rolled, and if the result correlates to a multiplier, you can either claim that prize, or choose to roll again. If you roll again, and land another multiplier, the process repeats.

The game continues until you both cash out your winnings, of the dice result correlates with a bust, and all winnings gained are lost.

Game info about Boom City

Boom City was released by Pragmatic Play in 2022 as part of the developer’s ever-growing collection of high-quality live games. Boom City FAQs

How to play Boom City

Playing Boom City is a simple process. First, you choose how much you want to stake on the round. Then you pick a position on the 6x6 grid shown on the board. Each grid position correlates to the result of the roll of two dice, one gold one blue.

The dice are then rolled, if your chosen position matches the result of the dice, one of three results will occur, bust, which means no win, a multiplier – which will be added to your stake and paid out, or one of the game’s three bonus features.

The game is similar in its base to Sic Bo. However, with Sic Bo, you are betting on a number, which is the result of rolled dice, meaning the number can be reached in one of several ways. With Boom City, the grid has vertical and horizontal lines for the gold and blue dice, respectively. This means that each of the 36 grid positions has the same chance of landing, as there is only one way to trigger each result.
